Y Loft at Youth Square Awarded With Hotels.com Certificate of Recognition for Quality Guest Services That Makes a Difference in Hostel Staying Experience

An inaugural art event, "Arts Oasis @ Y Loft", was held in September 2015 with over 40 local and overseas artists, creative units and students showcasing their artistic philosophy and masterpieces. By transforming a hostel guest room by each participating artist, each room became a unique art gallery featuring not just their artistic masterpiece but also their interpretation of art via some installation within the guest room. There is a 3D photo corner next to the reception area where guests could pose for an extra shot and make their stay a remarkable one. In addition, there have been different art workshops for all hostel guests. For instance, in mid October, a group of young visitors had joined the "One Piece Uncut" Origami Art Workshop to experience world-class paper folding arts during their stay.  

In order to seize every festive celebration with the hostel guests, a Halloween party and concert will be held on October 30 and 31 at Y Loft and Youth Square, respectively. We value every opportunity to make the stay a relaxing, fun and joyful experience.

Youth Square

The Youth Square, which came into full operation in 2010, is a youth development project of the Home Affairs Bureau of the HKSAR Government, with an aim to be the hub of diversified youth development activities for youth to develop their potential. Youth Square facilities include the 643-seat Y Theatre, Y Studio, multi-function areas and the Y Loft which has 148 guest rooms. 2015 marks the 5th Anniversary of Youth Square. Youth Square has been conducting nearly 100 themed events under "Music & Dance", "Arts & Culture" and "Community Engagement". Youth Square has been holding over 5,000 youth events and served for more than 1 million participants since 2010.
