HOT : Venetian Gondola Boat , Macau Tower , Galaxy 3 In 1 Package SAN DIEGO and SINGAPORE, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Value investment firm Brandes Investment Partners, L.P., announced today that Charles Brandes, CFA, will present at the inaugural Asia Value Investor Conference in Hong Kong on December 8, 2015. Brandes' presentation, The Enduring Principles of Value Investing, will draw from his 40-plus years building a global value investment shop, and from his recent book, Brandes on Value: The Independent Investor. He will discuss the merits of a global value approach to equity and fixed-income investing and a long-term mindset unaffected by short-term market noise. The conference will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong and is the first of its kind for value investors in Asia. It will build upon the success of the London Value Investor Conference, which is now in its fifth year and brings together well-known investors from across the globe. The Hong Kong speakers will provide valuable insights into their approaches to value investing and the current investment climate. "We believe there is a strong benefit to fostering collaborative thinking about value investing in Asia, and we are honored that Mr. Brandes has agreed to present and share his thoughts on the classic Graham-and-Dodd principles and how they apply to investing in the region," said Robert Hunter, Managing Director at Value Investor Limited. Brandes Investment Partners is committed to an on-the-ground presence in Asia. The firm appointed Christopher Garrett, CFA, as CEO of Brandes Investment Partners (Asia) Pte. Ltd. in February 2015 and added Director Anita Krishnamoorthy, CFA, in May. About Brandes Investment Partners, L.P.
