XI'AN, China, December 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Last month, the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration invited two adventurers -- Kiersten Rich from the US and Tyson Mayr from Australia to attend the "Shaanxi Selfie Culture Hunt" -- a journey to explore the ultimate beauty and culture of Shaanxi.

The two hunters visited Shaanxi's most famous attractions -- Tang Paradise, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an City Wall, Muslim Street, Daming Palace, Huaqing Hot Springs, The Song of Everlasting Regret Dancing Show, Terracotta Army, Mount Hua, Hukou Waterfall, Ansai Waist Drum, Chenlu Old Town, Shaanxi History Museum and Dumplings Banquet. To encourage more participation of the great adventure, Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration also conducted a Facebook campaign, asking people to vote for Kiersten and Tyson's selfies. According to the official figure, the campaign achieved 16 million impressions and attracted over 1 million "engagements" on Facebook. Kiersten finally won the most votes, became a golden hunter and 21 voters were selected via a lucky draw to award two round-trip tickets or a free customized selfie stick.
