From the vegetarian menu, lab tau hoo (HK$88) is a meat-free take on the famous larb gai, with diced tofu taking the place of minced chicken in the multi-textural salad dish. The tofu had a good kick and a supporting player of mushroom more than held its own, but the addition of fried wonton sheets seemed unnecessary, the oiliness detracting from the delicateness of the tofu.
The retro Landmark Atrium space focuses on the cuisine of central Thailand, and features traditional dishes like goong tom yum hang (wok-fried tiger prawns with tom yum sauce, lemongrass, chili, and a green herb salad garnish), pla tubtim yum takai (crispy red tilapia fillets, sweet and sour chilli sauce, lemongrass, mint, cashew and fried shallot) and tom ka gai (chicken and galangal soup with lemongrass, roasted chili and coconut cream) which is served in young coconut.
