【December 7 2015】Seventy-four years ago today, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii. At the time, the European theater of the war had been raging for more than two years, with the Soviet Union joining Great Britain and France in fighting Germany. But Japan and China had been in an all-out war since 1937, and the Japanese military was wary of an American intervention.
