【September 11 2015】Seven years to the day after the September 11 attacks, the Pentagon Memorial was opened to the public. One of the main features of the site is the field of steel benches, one bench for every person who died when terrorists flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia. Each bench bears the name of a victim, and beneath each is a small pool of flowing water.
