【July 19 2014】Dinosaur National Monument straddles the border between Colorado and Utah. President Woodrow Wilson granted the region National Monument status six years after paleontologist Earl Douglass discovered numerous fossilized bone beds in the sandstone hills. In addition to harboring fossils, many of the cliffs are engraved with ancient Native American petroglyphs. And if dinos and ancient human history aren’t your thing, the Yampa River draws many visitors for whitewater rafting during the spring and summer months.Explore breathtaking Gallery from the HuluTrip homepage over the past 5 years..
