【November 18 2013】Though it's officially Washington State Route 20, we prefer the more romantic title of North Cascades Scenic Highway. Thousands of years ago, Native Americans used the pass as a trade route between the Pacific Coast and the interior. Fast forward to September 2, 1972, and the 400-plus mile paved highway was complete. When it's not closed in winter, drivers can get from Puget Sound to the Idaho border via this picturesque passage.Explore breathtaking Gallery from the HuluTrip homepage over the past 5 years..
