【September 2 2013】Like many other attractions at the Seattle Center, the International Fountain was built for the 1962 World's Fair. Revamped in 1995, the fountain's 137 water nozzles discharge thousands of gallons of water up to 120 feet high, all synchronized to various recorded music. On Labor Day weekend, visitors to Bumbershoot, a music festival held at the Center, like to cool off in the fountain's spray.
