【August 31 2013】The glacier in the background was called Resurrection Glacier for decades, until spring of 1968, when a mountaineering group successfully crossed the Harding Icefield in Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. News stories at the time referred to their stopping point as the "exit" glacier, which is how the glacier is now identified on maps. The ice field has since been partially incorporated into Kenai Fjords National Park.Explore breathtaking Gallery from the HuluTrip homepage over the past 5 years..
