【August 28 2013】Today marks the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. As many as 300,000 people congregated at the Washington Monument and walked to the Lincoln Memorial to hear from various civil rights leaders, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who delivered his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.
