【June 17 2013】Don't let the perspective of this photo trick you: The boats in this pool are actually bobbing around in a protected cove, open on one side to England's Jurassic Coast. Some 10,000 years ago, ocean waves broke through bands of clay and sand along the shoreline, leaving a narrow opening bordered by limestone. As waves continued to crash through the opening, they bent into an arc, an action that eventually eroded the soft clay deposits inside, forming this unique, circular shape.
