ACTIVATION
We do not activate the net sim before shipping. You can receive phone calls/messages as soon as it is activated but you will not be able to make calls or use internet until you add credit.

Making a local call when you arrive activates the SIM (no other registration or details required). One way is to activate the sim by dialling *120 enter/call and press 2 for English when prompted, then press 2 again when asked what language you want your messages to come in, then hang up (sets your SIM to English).

It is not possible to use this SIM before you arrive in Thailand.

To activate international roaming dial *125*1# enter. You will receive a confirmation message within a few minutes (must be enabled in Thailand first).

Network Compatibility
Thailand uses 900/1800 MHz bands. Make sure your phone/device uses these bands . Make sure your phone/device is unlocked. If not sure, consult your local phone shop before you leave home. It was reported by one customer that his phone took an hour to begin working after initially turning the phone on in Thailand. This may have happened because multi-band phones automatically adjust to the correct band and on this one occasion it may have taken some time for this adjustment to be completed.
