What is chic has always emerged first from France, and it's clear the Ritz have caught hold of this and run with it with the formation of the Ritz-Carlton Cafe. A restaurant and cafe hybrid, offering classic French dishes, fresh seafood platters and an afternoon tea. 
Though when we visited the hot chocolate had a distinctly singed undertone, the pastries were obviously crafted with skill and the setting was as Parisian as one could wish. An ideal place to be idle in while fellow guests explore The Galaxy Promenade like it's the Rue de Passy.
