The Ruins of St.Paul's
Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral was a church before, it was burned in 1835. Local people called it Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, beacause the outlook of it is like Chinese traditional honorific arch. Ruins of St. Paul has became the world cultural heritage as a part of Macau.
The St. Paul’s Cathedral, or Mater Dei, is Macau’s most famous landmark and one of the most fabulous sights in the city. The façade, with detailed carvings, is located atop one of the island’s seven hills, which lends it much significance and great views. Throw a coin into the top window of the ruins of St. Paul’s for luck!
