  Good museum Some interesting parts like the opera with its beautiful costumes.The Bruce Lee exhibition did not interest me, but the chinese potteries did.Some exhibitions do change so do check.There was a Monet one on when i visited.Wednesdays are free entry, but I think you may have to pay extra for the Monet, as on any other day.   Some regular exhibitions eg. Chinese opera, mixed with some special exhibitions. Unfortunately some have been closed down for new display eg. New Territory cultural exhibition for one year. However, Bruce Lee's exhibition is still there. A must for his fans.Also international photographic exhibition.

  Plain ugly from the outside, this museum is much more attractive on the inside. The central staircase that is off-limits (so Mainland Chinese, yet this is Hong Kong!) tops it all. However, the exhibitions are actually quite interesting, e.g. the Cantonese Opera hall. Sometimes there's an interesting temporary exhibition that is worth seeing, so you have to keep an eye... More

  My family and I enjoyed the museum because we were able to learn the background of Bruce Lee which I never heard before. However, it's FAR from central and not really worth the trip unless you're a fan of Bruce. And after learning about his life, you will be!

  After a long haul to the museum from HK island, we find the overly large heritage museum building and it is nearly empty. Several exhibitions were closed or not opened yet. The arts and crafts history part was interesting (though small) and helped us understand som aspects of contemporary HK-chinese art and design. The Bruce Lee exhibit was somewhat interesting....   To be totally honest, this trip was all about me... and ended up being a great time for both of us. I grew up a huge fan of the legendary Kung Fu icon Bruce Lee. Just so happens the have had an on going Bruce Lee exhibit. You will find a huge statue of Bruce before entering the museum, great... More

  The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is a huge building, in a weird mixture of modern and Chinese style architecture. The entrance hall is enormous and empty, the signage is poor and the staff unhelpful. Once you find your way upstairs, the Bruce Lee exhibition is the only item on the first floor. I have no doubt he has his fans,... More
