  This is not the only Tin Hau Temple, and there are many temples of various gods and goddesses in Hong Kong, Kowllon, and the New Territories. This is comparatively a smaller and less famous one.

  Right on Nathan road in Yau Ma Tei Public Square where market goers can also visit. Very down to earth place for locals and visitors alike. Visit at your leisure, there are very few restrictions.

  Worshippers come any time they like, not only on festival days or the first or the fifteen days of each lunar month. The number of incense sticks tells us how popular the temple is. Smoky and could be a bit stuffy when there are a lot of worshippers. Good for someone who really wants to see the local culture.

  This is one of many Tin Hau temples in Hong Kong. It's very old but other than that nothing special. Well sign posted from Jordan mtr exit A. Located near an old park. Super busy temple

  I expected much more from this temple after reading positive things online and in books. But when I arrived there I found out that it is an old place and not really worth my time. There are better temples to visit, for example Man Mo temple.

  this was such a pleasant experience visiting an authentic temple. it is quite small and located behind the main road in a park, which is sad as it is not well maintained. however the temple is quite nice and allows visitors to enter and observe which is different than most. photography is encouraged and you can take your time in...   Tin Hau is a small temple off an urban park near the Yau Ma Tei MTR stop. Worth a visit if you are seeing the markets in the area. Lots of incense spirals.
