  Passed through after midnight last week on transit. Beautiful airport but was surprised to find all the shops closed. Not one open. All duty free closed. This I never would expect this at a major hub as HK. Some food court shops open which was good. So if you transiting after midnight don't think you can go shopping

  The Terminal 2 though less known has quite a lot of shops with some open and some closed down due to less crowds. If you have a few hours on hand you can watch movies at Imax. There is also an amusement centre which is pretty expensive

  We spent our time here when we were waiting our check in time. We found disneyland shop, foods and seven eleven. Surprisingly, we found korean food such as banana milk and kimbap at Seven Eleven. There were a lot of foods selection heere. We ate a yummy porridge at one of the porridge restaurant.

  For those who are in a budget but still desires to buy souvenirs or products in HK, there are stores here in Terminal 2 and even in other terminals that offer low priced yet quality products. I bought several chocolates for a few dollars. I even bought fussili pastas for just 6 hk dollars or 24 pesos each! So cheap... More

  I picked up a Burberry perfume, didn't bother to convert and check in my local currency. Much to my disappointment, I was charged way much more than I would have otherwise paid.   Upon arrival, landing, the view is tremendous, the HK skyline is really amazing.   Terminal 2 at the Hong Kong International airport (HKG) offers a scaled down version of the larger and better Terminal 1 shopping area. You can find travel luggage, toy shop, casual and business wear, electronics, newsstand, Forrex, food court, coffee shops and sit down restaurant facilities while waiting in the T2 area.   Little known terminal 2 is quite large for the small number of shops that has survived.
