  This is local Hong Kong. If you are interested in markets, this is one of Hong Kong's best. This is how the locals live.   The hawker centre may not give the best comfort, but the food is definitely superb. I ate the cooked food. Everything was very good with generous servings. The steamed fish was very fresh.   Tai Po Market Complex is an excellent wet market ... its seafood stalls are the most amongst the territory .... fresh with great variety and very reasonable price is famous ...   but we also had an excellent guide describing all the vegetables we did not recognize. Working class people buy everything fresh daily. Buildings in the area up to nine stories do not have elevators! Hard way to live!
