  I recommend taking a taxi up to the observation platform, so as to save time and energy. You will reach a pavilion first. Views are already spectacular at this stage but are marred by the electrical voltage towers. You go up some stone steps to reach the actual platform.   Great views from The Kowloon Peak (aka Fei Ngo Shan). Accessible by road or hiking path. Factor in several hours hike to get up there, take in the views and then get back again. Alternatively you can drive / take a taxi up there if time is tight. Limited facilities so pack everything you might need. Gets windy and cold... More

  Unlike Victoria peak, the top of 'Fei ngo shan' has no buildings to block your view. When it's dark, you can see the light from skyscrapers clearly (if there is no fog). Standing there makes me feel free. I'd never be bored sitting there for an hour to see the view from sunset to the night. Strongly recommended!!! Note: It's... More

  Choose a clear day post rains and it is well worth the effort. About 20/25 min drive from central. (On weekend) As mentioned the 8pm light show is great but also worth going to see the sunset. Get there by 6:30 and quite amazing view. Best to drive up there. GPS "Fei Ngo Shan" as Point of interest.
