  This Buddhist temple is heavily used by locals so you should be respectful of those at worship. There are several buildings, each higher up than the next. Inside each are many Buddhist statues with altars holding offerings from flowers to oranges to oil bottles. In one, there were Buddhist monks burning offerings from worshippers.   We visited this monastery with a bus tour. It was the highlight of the day. Although undergoing renovation, it was completely open for an interesting visit.   If you are interested in Buddhist temples by all means visit. It is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing here. Catch the MRT to Tsuen Wan.   The building is nothing special and the paint looks cheap. However when you look inside, you will see some of the most beautiful statues in Hong Kong. Easy to reach by minibus in Tsuen Wan

  Wonderful Zen temple complex located in the Tsuen Wan District of Hong Kong. My favorite part of the temple complex is the "Hall of 500 Arhats" located at the top of the mountain peak - inside which housed a two storey of 500 golden statues whilst the buddhist mantras were played on the background - serene experience.   Wonderfull monastery on the hills of Tsuen Wan. There was a religious ceremony going on at 11:45 on weekday. It's quite and not touristic - worth a visit! There is even a bus stop nearby.
