  Marble road market has fresh produce for daily cooking. It's a wet market along the length of Marble Road. The dry goods are at the end towards Quarry Bay where there are very old shops selling bedclothes, slippers, bags and lots of old wares. The area is predominantly for local consumption.

  The name is very confusing as it closes down by 7pm. However it is still a good market on a smaller scale than Temple St & Ladies Markets and without all the crowd. Items for sale are similar and market is located in a less tourist area of Hong Kong at North Point.

  Went to marble night market and everything was shut. All the stools were packing away. We went between 6-7 and everyone was packing away. Luckily I was staying only around the corner or this would have been an awful waste of time

  Go during the day to experience a roadside market where the true locals buy their fish, meat and vegetables. Nothing like our western sanitised supermarkets. Lots of fun. Clothes and shoes? Same as anywhere else really.

  As a market, there is really nothing much you can buy. Some stands with "ancient chinese" pieces... That might be interesting. Better shop at the Ladies Market But the fun part cane when we discovered that there is a whole street of fortune, tarot, palm or face readers!!!! Each has its own tent, and some plastic stools, where people sit... More
