  The structure is quaint. Situated in the heart of the old city. Portuguese type of architecture. Reminds of Goa. It is within the heritage precinct.

  The people at the Tourism Office were wonderfully helpful. Also, there was an exhibit about Macau that helped get us oriented. They do a great job.

  My husband and I arrived at ferry terminal to go to Macau. We were immediately accosted by people selling tickets. Not sure who they were but I assume they were not official . We bought our tickets at office. Nice girl who encouraged us to book return ticket on 5.30 pm ferry. Went over on 10.30 ferry. Customs etc ok... More

  hi folks if you want to visit Macau for a day trip, here some tips: 1) we took a ferry from Kowloon, we bought the tickets in the "China Ferry terminal" building. you can buy Tickets for the same day or in advance (better). for the same day: many "salesman" sell Tickets (return). Departure time is fixed, but return time... More

  We visited Macau on a Gray Line day tour. The first stop were the ruins of St Paul's Roman Catholic Church, followed by the Na Tchaikovsky Temple, the Mount Fortress gardens which were beautiful, the very interesting Museum of Macau, the Temple of A-Ma and finally the Macau Tower which we didn't go up as it was an additional cost....   Macau is a good one day trip destination if you are on visit to Hong Kong. One can take a jetty in morning and can return by evening. Jetty ride is also a good experience. One having interest in Casino's can have a gala time here.
