  Visited the theatre in the afternoon and it was all empty. There's a aristocratic feeling when you stepped into the building, befitting the heavy European influence in the building process. But it's fair to say that it'll be better to visit the location when there's a performance taking place.

  The theatre is open to the public between 10am and 6.00pm however, the best way to experience it is to go to a concert. We went to a performance by the Macau Orchestra and we enjoyed the performance so much in this beautiful old theatre, steeped in history.   Very well maintained theatre. A rare opportunity to experience the facility of the 'rich and the famous' of the 1800s. Definitely worth visiting!
