  As of 20 June 2016: This church is currently sealed off. There is repair work going on as the roof has collapsed. Nonetheless, you will walk past this church if you are in St Augustine's Square to visit the library and theatre, so you can still take a picture of the exterior of the church.

  It s another church along the Heritage Trail. It is not as touristy due to it being farther away from Central or Sentado Square. It is good to learn about the history of Portuguese catholic influence on Macau, but to me, the churches all seem similar, so brief stops are all that is needed.

  Stands out more than the cathedral, due to the yellow inside and out, and the friendly atmosphere. Work a quick look or a sit-down break.

  If you approach the the Senado Square from the Lisboa or grand Lisboa ruins of St.Paul's is on the right hand side while St.Augustine's Church is on the left although a small walk away.   Make it a point to see some of the older churches in Macau. They span centuries, but still have active congregations. The interiors are always interesting and this one in no exception. The square outside is quiet compared to other more heavily traveled areas of Macau. A nice respite.

  This review is quite late. The St. Augustine’s Church is one of the less visited churches in the city. It is located in the serene St. Augustine's Square which is somehow hidden.
