Lots of history and plenty of reminders of the Portuguese history of Macau but not too much else. The casinos are impressive and get around and see a few. Transport is easy with plenty of free shuttle buses... More

  macau matsu is a temple. you would feel very tranquil and peacefulm here as the vibrations here are such. must visit

  It resembles macau's history as the ancestors live as fishermen and the queen of the sea is their most important goddess. There's a tree called " Hundred Years Couple Tree" which is actually one Plumeria grows with another tree (not sure if it's the same species) by twisting together.   During the recent Chinese New Year holiday, wevisited the A-Ma Temple at Barra Square in the southwest area of the Macau Peninsula. The atmosphere was very nice but it was shoulder-to-shoulder, human traffic moving in and out of the temple, making it very difficult to have a quality visit to A-Ma Temple at this time of year.
