  The mention of black sand normally conjures up images of beautiful stretches of volcanic sand beaches. Instead, Hac Sa is really just a small patch of nondescript dirty-brown beach. The water is also muddy and murky. In summer Hac Sa gets crowded quite unpleasant. Definitely not worth the trip. There're shower facilities and a couple of cafes and restaurants though... More

  Beaches are not Macau's USP. Water is muddy (due to reclamation activity) Hac Sa is one of the popular beaches- sand is blackish. Few mild adventure activities are available. Worth a short visit if you have spare time or keen to check beaches, otherwise can be skipped

  Another TA find! More locals seem to frequent this beach which meant it was less busy. The sandy beach is a great place for a BBQ and if you're lucky enough to see the sunset, you won't be disappointed.
