  Sunday afternoon is the most interesting time to be at the lake with occasional live entertainment and ever passing crowd of onlookers.

  Macau is a small city. However there are lots of casino in Macau, only a few quite and relax place to provide to public. Nam Van Lake is one of the few recreational place. Nam Van Lake was fenced artificial lake by Reclamation Project. In the morning and during twilight, there will have some people playing and take a walk... More

  Nam Van Lake is a artificial lake on the southern side of the Macau Peninsula. It is just east of Sai Van Lake and is bordered by a nice promenade, Wynn, MGM and Mandarin Oriental hotel properties to the east.   Nam Van is one of two lakes, which use to be part of the bay, now being closed off by landfill.   It's really not a tourist attraction. You can run around it, but there is no proper running path, just concrete sidewalk. It's the location of the annual dragon boat races, so that's really when one would go there.
