  The bust is right beside a sports complex and the garden is on a main road, so you can sit but not really get that much peace. I passed on my way between the forts and i see no other reason for a tourist to be here.

  Located in the same square named Vasco da Gama, during my stay in Macau I could see the whole square and the respective statue from the comfort of my hotel room, even if you get close up, the statue is not that much and I believe it doesn't worth you to go for it.
