Golden Pavilion or Shunkoin Temple Stay Which Is the Best in Kyoto

Shunkoin Temple, located within the Myoshin-ji temple complex in northwest Kyoto, is one of the temples among thousands temples in ktoyo, provides temple stay. However it is the only one temple stay in Kyoto which offers its services and Zen meditation class in English.  

Sazareishi-no-niwa, or the Garden of Boulders, is the main garden of Shunkoin temple. The name was derived from many boulders, or sazareishi, in the garden, and those bolders represent the islands of Ise Bay. The Garden of Bolders is prominent because the theme is the Great Shrine of Ise and this garden actually houses a shrine and forest, which enshrine two most important deities, a sun goddess and a goddess of agriculture.

What's more, temple stay (Shukubo) is the other attraction of Shunkoin Temple which attracts many tourists. There are five simple rooms all coming with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi and access to a well-equipped shared kitchen. However, not all the rooms are en suite and only eight private rooms are available.
