In celebration of the 17th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administration Region, government takes the classic Chinese text of ‘Mountains and Seas’ as its inspiration, with mascot ‘VIVA’s Adventures through Shan Hai’ comprising 60 local and foreign participating groups numbering nearly 1,200 participants in all.
 Local groups will perform Cantonese Opera, theatre, music, martial arts, folk and traditional and Oriental dance, while a number of outstanding foreign participating groups from Latin-speaking countries will spice up the many activities.
