Amazingly, in almost every karst hill of Guilin, there is a cave containing stalactites and stalagmites.

After crossing the Liberation Bridge, you will arrive at the Qixing (Seven-Star) Park on the east shore of the Lijiang River. In the park there are many stone pinnacles. Seven of them, which have been given names such as Tianshu, Tianxuan, Tianji, Tianquan, Yuheng, Kaiyang and Yaoguang, scattered in the formation similar to the Big Dipper.Seven-StarCavewas opened to visitors 1,000 years ago and has many inscriptions left by distinguished people of various dynasties. In the 800-meter-long cave there is a museum of natural art works stalactites and stalagmites appearing in various fantastic shapes, such as curtains, pillars, flowers, animals and human figures.

CamelPeak is also a major attraction inSeven-StarPark. The huge rock looks exactly like a camel from one angle, but seems to be a big teapot viewed from a different angle, hence its second name is Teapot Hill,Seven-Star Park is the largest park in urban Guilin.

It may take a whole day if you want to visit all of it's a dozen or so other scenic spots, including the Floral Bridge, Dragon-Hidden Cave,Stone Tablet Forest,Strange Rock Museum and the Zoo.

Ludi (Bamboo Pipe) Cave is located in the northwest suburb of Guilin. Shorter in depth (500 meters), this cave is more spacious. Its stalactite view spots are more concentrated and can even match those of the Seven-Star Cave.

Other parks of Guilin, such as Western HillPark,Chuanshan Park,Ludi Park and Yaoshan Forest Park, all have a special feature of each own, offering a unique charm no other parks can replace.
