Tayun Mountain was recognized as a National 3A Level Scenic Spot on July 4.

As a famed mountain in Taoism, Tayun Mountain is located in Chaiping Town, which is to the west of downtown Zhen'an County, Shangluo City, and its main peak, Golden Peak, is 1665.8 meters above sea level. Built in the Zhengde Period of the Ming Dynasty (1505 - 1521), the cluster of ancient Taoist buildings on Tayun Mountain consists of a guesthouse, a pagoda, a temple, a hall, and nine palaces, looking simple and unsophisticated but very elegant and refined. Since the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the cluster of ancient buildings was repaired and renovated for 5 times, and has a history of over 500 years.
