FOCAL TRAVEL PTE LTD opened her doors in 20th April 1994 with just a humble 4 man team,
offering outbound travel services to the general market.


Recognizing
the potential of outbound travel, especially the leisure market and armed
with huge networking and familiarity, our founder, Mr. Wilson Tee, proceed with
the acquisition of NEWLY TOURS PTE LTD in the same year, as a separate entity to specialize
in Malaysia and Thailand travel packages to enhance customer’s need adequately.


Within
the next few years, both Focal Travel and Newly Tours
have built great reputation with our professionalism and seen huge number of returning clients, generating approximately 40,000 passengers in the year 1998, after the launch of Hong Kong, North Asia and Australia tour packages.

years later in 2004, new and arising demand for specialised tours, inspired
Mr. Tee to incorporate ASIA PACIFIC and W&A TRAVEL to widen our tour scope of China,
Australia and other parts of the South Pacific respectively. The businesses were
enhanced and optimised by combining our marketing efforts, which further enabled
us to expand our niche tour market progressively.


After the
low cost carriers was heavily utilized by the general public, new challenges arose
and thus the improved brand of FOCAL TRAVEL GROUP was reformed with the merger of all
the Companies, including centralization of the HR, Accounts and Tour Operations
Department in July 2013.


Over the years, we have serviced and pleasured
thousands of fellow travel avid from individuals to families and Corporate
clients including Daifuku Mechatronics (S) Pte. Ltd., UMW Equipment & Engineering
Pte. Ltd., Melaleuca (S) Pte. Ltd., Oticon Singapore Pte. Ltd., Keppel Club
Singapore, to name a few.


In 2015, after more than 20 years of providing
quality and value-added tour services, our founder decided to take a step back
as Advisor and the businesses are seeing her 2nd generation and now being anchored
by his son, Mr. Clement Tee. Evolving the business with time, Focal Travel is now
joining and ready to service the tech-savvy travellers.
