Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum to bolster innovative technology of turning agriculture waste into gold

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The first edition of Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum (AAT) being held by Asia's largest trade shows organiser, UBM Asia and co-organised by Council of Agriculture (COA), the leader of agriculture sector in Taiwan, will take place from 28-30 September, 2017 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The Expo aims to encourage application of advanced technology on agriculture to overcome future food crisis as well as advocates recycling farm wastes for further usage.

Wastes, like deadwoods, defoliations, livestock wastes, rich husks, etc. are being seen on all farms. Farm owners are paying close attention to how to avail leftover values of those wastes to save costs; hence, the organiser has invited exhibitors to showcase innovative, eco-friendly and sustainable technology and equipment which could turn wastes into gold.

Advanced Green Biotechnology, a company local to Taiwan will showcase fast biological fertilizer fermentation equipment which can produce 1,500 litres of bio-fertilizer every two days and save up to 70% fermentation cost. Another exhibitor, Sheng Yzz will display plant fibre separating machine which is designed to turn coconut and palm tree waste into eco-mat, mattress, rope, shoes, bio-fertilizer, etc.
