New Years Eve Hong Kong 2016 Countdown and Fireworks Parties

As soon as the clock strikes midnight, you’ll want to be firmly planted at your pre-chosen vantage point along with your friends and family, close as possible to Victoria Harbour where you’ll be guaranteed a great view. Special effects and fireworks will launch from Hong Kong’s famous waterfront and washing the harbour with a ‘ripple’ effect of light and sound; an impressive experience. Because of the sheer scale of the event it’s actually easier than you would think to find a decent vantage point (if you don’t mind crowds) in the city however places like the city’s Avenue of Stars (Hong Kong’s edition of Hollywood’s Walk of Fame) on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and Wan Chai’s Golden Bauhinia Square provide some of the best spots.
Date: 31 December 2015
Time: Shooting Stars: 11–11:45pm
Pyrotechnics: Midnight
Venue: Victoria Harbour

This New Year’s Eve, join the throngs of cheering revellers along Hong Kong’s waterfront and usher in 2016 with a bang!
The radiant Victoria Harbour is the belle of the ball for Hong Kong’s spectacular New Year countdown. A party atmosphere will reign supreme as an eight-minute pyromusical display lights up the skies above the iconic Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Whether you watch it along the shoreline, from a boat on the harbour or on-high in a skyscraper, it’s definitely worth planning early to ensure a prime spot!
