【July 5 2014】To trace the various routes of the Tour de France, from the first race in 1903 to this summer’s ride, is to tour not only most of France, but multiple stops in Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, and in a few other countries as well. This year’s start will be in Leeds, England. Starting the race outside the French border began in 1954, with a launch in Amsterdam.
