【July 21 2013】Railway travelers have stopped at the station in Liège, Belgium, since 1842. The original station was remodeled three times before the current, completely redesigned station debuted in 2009 to allow fast arrival and departure of high-speed trains. Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the station features sweeping arches and lattice-work of steel, white concrete, and glass.
