Phuket is a romantic and the biggest island of Thailand. To celebrate your valentine's day with your love in Phuket is a great thing to create memories for you two! Now it only takes a few hours to fly from Macau to Phuket. Let's make this valentine for you to remember for a lifetime!
Couples Sunset Stroll at Promthep Cape
Promthep Cape or Laem Promthep as it is known, at the most southern tip of Phuket, is probably one of Phuket’s most breathtaking sunset viewpoints. Promthep Cape is a rocky headland, which juts into the sea, with spectacular views from the ocean and the nearby Nai Harn Bay. From here, you can take an early evening stroll or relax having a cold drink and see the sun set around the horizon. A must see for couples!
Have a Romantic Dinner by the Sea
After a swim in the beach, culminate your night with a romantic dinner. Whether it’s a simple beachside bistro or exclusive restaurants in Phuket hotels, what matters most is the person you eat with.
Cocktails at Sunset Followed by a Candlelit Dinner
If you fancy a cocktail and a spot of dinner at sunset, there are plenty of places along the west coast for you to base yourself to enjoy a spectacular view across the ocean. We particularly like Joe’s Downstairs, near Patong, for a relaxed but stylish drink or meal and great, unspoilt views out across the waves. For something a little more intimate, and if you have managed to break away from the usual hotel stay and discovered the beauty of having your own private luxury apartment, why not arrange a private chef for the evening who will cook (and clear up!) for you while you relax on the balcony and chat while looking up at the stars.
Relax on secluded beaches
Phuket's most popular beaches - Patong, Kata, Karon - are a little too busy to feel romantic, so you're better off venturing to its quieter coastal areas. Hat Nai Han on the south coast is a small, peaceful beach, with a handful of restaurants set back from the shore. Visit in the early evening to take a romantic stroll and enjoy one of the best sunset views Phuket has to offer.
Slightly to the west of Nai Han, a quick drive through The Royal Phuket Yacht Club and out the other side, is Ao Sane, a very small, rocky beach visited by only a handful of people a day - an ideal hidden escape for couples.
Night Life in Patong
Patong beach nightlife essentially rotates around Soi Bangla and Rat U Thit Road, as well as in the Paradise Complex, the popular gay street somewhere in the center of Rat U Thit road, easy to spot as it is right at the feet from the Royal Paradise Hotel tower. It may be worth a visit, it’s friendly and you may watch a small ladyboy cabaret show for that price of a drink.
