  A local, quiet place for tourists to know more about Hong Kong. Yau Ma Tei area also a place which is away from typical tourist spot. This is a place for some people they really want to see the another face of this commercial city.

  It is at the Yau Ma Tei MTR station and easy to go there. It is a traditional Chinese Temple. Not very big. However, you can know more about the Chinese culture and there religion after visiting it.

  It is a very famous temple in Hong Kong and the building is still keep in good condition because government keep to provide a good maintenance, Tin Hau is a Folk Religion, some people believe that Tin Hau will keep then life with peace.

  The temple is of the Taoist sect which alone merits a visit. Outside the front entrance one will find the "shoe beaters" who are women that cast curses upon those you designate.
