  A little touristy but not bad. There are many restaurants but I get the feeler that any one of them will be fine. You pick out your fish from a supplier nearby and the restaurant prepares it. It's fun and something to do with visitors.

  The fish market has a wealth of strange and interesting things for sale, among the usual offerings. Lots of color, activity, smells, and you can choose what you want to eat for lunch if you have a mind to do so.

  We had dinner here with local friends and they took us to the Lei Yu Mun fish market,it is each time a wonderful experience, very impressing to see the amount of living fish in the aquariums ready for eating, we had crab, an excellent fish and fried rice, all of outstanding quality. It is an absolute must.

  Is really only one or two blocks. For you are an aquarium buff then this is the place for you. All sorts of gadgets for aquariums. A few stores are interesting for pics as they have plastic Bags filled with goldfish and fighting fish hanging up outside the stores which was fascinating. But after those stores and a few pics... More

  I have not visited HK after more than 10 years. Lei Yue Mun has transformed. It has more new buildings. The seafood is expensive as compared to Malaysia or BKK. And may be even Singapore. A medium size lobster is S$152!! We had our seafood dinner at Hoi Lung Sea food. Instead of picking out every item and bargaining on... More

  Time to soak in the culture... We went here with friends on Valentine's Day! I know...not a perfect place to go on a date but we had fun choosing what we were gonna have for lunch...fish, shrimps, crabs!

  Worth a trip by ferry or bus - walk through the wet markets and see the huge range of seafood available for purchase. Keep walking up the trails to the top, or visit the Tin Hau temple. Many restaurants throughout the market for dining.
