  My hotel is just down the road and I plan on getting mangosteens everyday while here. Live seafoods and open meat butchers. Definitely a sight to see once

  This place is fascinating as a working fresh produce market and forms the heart of Wan Chai as far as I am concerned. Also make sure to visit the narrow market streets to the north of hear especially Stone Nullah lane where half way along on the west side there is a bakery that sells hot custard tarts at HKD3...   Warning!! Do not go here if you are squeamish. There are live fish being butchered, cut in half and displayed with their internal organs still beating. It's quite a sight. Great place for photography but be discreet or you will have problems. Sights and sounds and smells are amazing. Not everyone's cup of tea but nevertheless worth seeing.

  Scents and impressions are intense Here you will find raw materials you certainly do not run into every day. Everything is utilized. Other markets like this are, Ngau Chi Wan or Tang Lung Chau.A part of everyday life in Hong Kong so far.

  This was an interesting hour if our day. Walking up and down the local market, seeing vegetables I've never heard of before. It's filthy, so watch where you walk.
