  We accidentally discover this place on a website and we are glad that we went. This reserve is full of butterflies and it is a great day out. For people who likes taking photographs, there is plenty of opportunities. Make sure you bring some mosquito repellent. We went there by taking bus 307 from central. Get off at destination. Then...   Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve is a semi-wild nature garden with various types of trees and flowers which attracts scores of butterflies. It's a great place to stroll around and take photos or videos. The garden is far off other tourist attractions so it usually doesn't get over crowded allowing quiet observation and filming of the butterflies.

  Nice way to spend a morning or afternoon with your kids for some wild life experience. Avoid the hot Summer days. Very knowledgable staff.

  We had read reviews, so we went with no expectations. This is not a tourist attraction but a hidden little nature gem. It is not easy to get to if you don't know the area, but nothing that google maps can't fix. I would suggest that when you get off the bus, you grab a taxi or the green village... More
