  Very nice view, is a nice monastery but is a new one. From here you have to buy a traditional hat because nowhere in Hong Kong you`ll find.

  we both enjoyed this, but be aware when they say 482 steps(we didn't count them) it is a lot of steps, so take plenty of water for the walk up, and go to the white Buddha as well (that one is of to the right of the first temple you get to) that was beautiful.

  Very easy to navigate to and find from the metro station. Clearly sign posted / directions. If in doubt, there are many people to ask should you get lost. Take refreshments with you, and wear comfy shoes. This is one of the temples you need to see whilst in Hong Kong. You wont be disappointed.

  Lovely day trip out to Sha Tin. The temple is fairly well signposted and easy to find. It's a nice steep walk up past all the monk statues to the top where you find the 10000 buddhas. If you keep going up there's a lovely very large newer statue at the top and more temples. Great views over Sha Tin... More

  This monastery is reached by walking up stairs through a forested area with many Buddha statues lining the way. The entrance is near Sha tin MTR (railaway) station and you do a short walk around to the entrance which is between two large office buildings.   Steep walk. Allow time to rest.Can be slippery if raining. Dress lightly on hot and humid days. Check directions. Ask other tourists if lost.scenic view worth visiting.

  This is a must see in Hong Kong. Near Sha Tin station, this is not very easy to find but people will be happy to help as everybody is looking for this area.   I accidentally walked up to the monastery next door first, which led to an even longer walk, take plenty of water as very tiring but funny seeing buddhas' face. Apparently there is a risk of fake monks asking for money being there, I didn't experience this but watch out anyway
