The Hardest Race in the WorldThe Grande Prémio de Macau,as is known as the Grand Prix Macau will be held at 17th-20th November this year.The Grand Prix Macau is one of the most important events in a year.Most parts of the track are in the downtown.The Grand Prix has been considered as the best street race in the world by media.Since the Guia Circuit has passed through the downtown,the most narrow part of the circuit is just 7 meters'wide.The accidents happened.The actor of these accidents died finally.1st-Luis Carreira(2012)The 35-year-old Portugal Racer Luis Carreira lost his control in Fisherman's bend.He crashed on the fence.His car caught fire and the driver was thrown out the car.Luis Carreira was unconscious when the rescuers reached him.The No.31 Hong Kong racer Philip Yau crashed on the fence in Mandarin Oriental Bend.He was certified dead in the S.Januario Hospital later. 2nd-Bruno Bonhuil(2005)The 45-year-old French driver Bruno Bonhuil crashed in the Mardarin Oriental Bend competing the champion of Motorcycle Grand Prix.He was severe coma after injured.3rd-Erwin Wilding(2004)This Austrian driver lost his control at high speed in the R Bend.His car was completely separate.The guy was in a serious coma at once. 4th-A Hong Kong Driver(2000)In the first round of Motorcycle Grand Prix,a Hong Kong driver crashed in the Lingnan Bend.The car rolled up side down on the road.The driver was in a coma near the fence.But this wasn't an end.The oncoming car crashed on the trouble-causing car.But fortunately no one lost his life.5th-Frans Verschuur(2000)This has been the most serious accident the Grand Prix Macau has ever had.The Dutch racer drove his Renault roadster off the track.He knocked the safety fence down first and then he knocked over a couple in front of the Lisboa Hotel.After crashing on a van,the car finally shut down.But the poor wife lost his husband . |
