Our panelists Aung Kyaw Moe Founder and Group CEO, 2C2P Sasin Executive MBA 2006 Aung is the founder and Group CEO of 2C2P, a Singapore-headquartered payment solutions company serving financial institutions, e-commerce merchants and consumers across Southeast Asia. 2C2P has offices in nine Southeast Asia countries. He hails from Myanmar, but has been based in Singapore and Thailand for the past eighteen years. Aung is passionate about contributing to the uptake and growth of the payments industry in Asia, particularly around alternative payments in emerging Southeast Asia market where credit and debit card penetration is low. Aung co-founded Paysbuy, a Thai payments company, successfully exiting in 2007. He also founded SinaptIQ, a 3DSecure payment solutions provider. Aung holds an Executive MBA from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and ACE from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.  Aung is currently participating in the Owner/President Management program at Harvard Business School. Aung was recognized as one of Asia's Top 25 Entrepreneurs by Business Week Magazine in 2009.  Roongchat (Jang) Boonyarat Director & Chief Operating Officer  Malee Group Public Company Limited (MALEE) Sasin MBA 2010 Roongchat has been working at MALEE for 6 years and has helped MALEE double the business from an annual revenue of THB 3 billion to THB 6 billion.  Her vision is to not only expand Malee beyond fruits into health and well-being categories but also to expand MALEE beyond Thailand. Her challenge is in preparing the team to be ready to move the Company to the next level.  The tasks include doubling sales, strengthening the brand, introducing MALEE to be regionally known, keeping the brand and the Company relevant, and managing a multi-generational staff of 1300 people. Six years ago, she started working at the Company as a trainee and earned her current title through the acceptance of internal staff and also the acceptance of her performance by the public. Khun Roongchat is a big believer in teamwork and considers her staff and competitors as her coaches, along with viewing MALEE’s past successes and failures as her lessons.   Her father Khun Chatchai – MALEE’s CEO and Chairman – is her most important mentor and source of inspiration. As she moved into more of a leadership role in her company, she decided that she needed to find some new ideas and new ways of dealing with change and with people. So she enrolled in Sasin’s Executive MBA program in 2011. She is now the Deputy Managing Director of Nanmeebooks, as well as the Managing Director of Nanmeebooks Innovation Institute. She is also a Board member of a number of education foundations, and is a columnist for Prachachart and Krungthep Turakit newspapers. Our Moderator Evan Douglas, Ph.D. Professor of Entrepreneurship and Head of the Marketing Department Griffith University, Nathan and Gold Coast campuses Sasin Visiting Professor Evan has over 40 years’ experience as an educator and business researcher, holding permanent and visiting professorial positions in university business schools in Australia, United States, Canada, England, China, Hong Kong, India and Thailand.  His current appointment is Program Leader for Entrepreneurship in the Griffith Business School at Griffith University in southeast Queensland (operating on four campuses, where he has introduced an undergraduate major in Entrepreneurship and Self-employment for business degrees and as a second-major for Science, Health and Humanities degrees. He also teaches in the MBA and Master of Marketing programs and supervises the research of Ph.D. candidates. He has over 40 journal publications plus five books, on topics ranging from managerial economics (early in his career) to entrepreneurship (in the past 20 years), and during these last 20 years he has been teaching as a Visiting Professor at Sasin Graduate Institute of Chulalongkorn University. Evan has entrepreneurial experience both as a university administrator and as an independent small business, procuring and selling automobile racing memorabilia for many years at the Grand Prix of Canada, in Montreal, Canada, (in the 1980s),  and operating a related automotive memorabilia mail-order business. Evan has coached teams of MBA students to victory (twice) and to runner-up (twice) in the Global Entrepreneurship Challenge (formerly known as MOOT CORP) held at the University of Texas, Austin, and he continues to coach student teams in national and international new venture start-up competitions. He has served on the Advisory Board of several entrepreneurial start-up ventures, most of these arising out of student projects.
