Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum opens tomorrow at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 1^st edition of Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum is organised by UBM Asia, co-organised by Council of Agriculture of Taiwan (COA) and is being held in parallel with Livestock Taiwan and Aquaculture Taiwan from 28^th-30^th September, 2017 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The event has attracted 194 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions and is expecting to welcome over 8,000 unique visitors from across the world. Taiwan Agricultural Technology Pavilion

Taiwan Agricultural Technology Pavilion: the event co-organiser COA will select and present their list of 44 latest technologies from 10 major agricultural technology sectors to raise their international recognition and emphasise the influence and importance of Taiwanese agriculture, livestock, and aquaculture technologies, including bio-fertilizer/pesticide, seeds, seedlings, feed additives, vaccines detection & testing kits, etc.

Taiwan Premium Seed and Seedling Pavilion: Organised by Taiwan Seeds Trade Association, high tolerant fruit, vegetable and flower seeds and seedlings will be displayed in the pavilion. While, Taiwan Banana Research Institute makes world debut of "Tai Banana No.7", the newly developed Cavendish Cultivar banana plantlet with moderate resistance to Foc TR4.

Taiwan Agricultural Machinery Pavilion: Taiwan Agriculture Machinery Manufacturers Association will lead 15 manufacturers to showcase latest and customisable agriculture machineries.

Antibiotic-free feed and feed additives: Antibiotic-free feed and feed additive brands from 23 countries and regions are being displayed at the expo. Animal health products and technologies will also be showcased by well-known animal medicine and vaccine companies in Taiwan. Besides, thematic conference topics on antibiotic free breeding delivered by industry pioneers are also being delivered by industrial professions onsite.

Smart aquaculture: A vast array of exhibits like smart aquaculture application system which is developed by Taiwan's IT elites, latest bio-technology in feed and water additives, water quality control techniques, feed and feeding equipment, environment control units, aerators as well as disease and health management methods are being featured at Aquaculture Taiwan.

In addition to the above, there are 40 professional conferences hosted by industry leaders and professors, which deliver first-hand industry development trend and innovative technologies to agricultural attendees from across the globe.
