I'm a 48 year old German who got seriously drunk at Dubai airport and watched some Arabians who, by all serious judgment, mash'Allah!, were not exactly sober. But the price of a beer at the airport is really, really, through the roof.

edit:
> Tennessee, where underage drinking is likewise illegal
Oh, America, the land of the free and clueless drivers. You allow driving at 16, but alcohol at 21. Your speed limit is such that most Europeans would fall asleep while driving, and some even did as tourists. And alcohol at 21, hey, 'mericans, we recently RAISED the limit to 18, and here's the news: You can and always could buy beer, wine, and liquor in ANY European supermarket. Your id card may or may not be checked.

You know the law here..........
I am not judging you, I rather would judge your parents. Just a friendly advice: do you and yourself a favor and join the AA. As an alcoholic at this young age, you can take it for granted to face problems sooner or later. No buzz is worth that.

Just being curious: where do teenagers buy alcohol in the US where showing an ID is required?

A drinking muslim, must be lapsed! Do you still pray 4 times a day, and ask forgiveness for being just like an evil westerner?

I hear the have a Western side of town where you can buy alcohol in Dubai. Then there is the old reliable way, buy a gallon of orange juice and put some yeast in it and don't tighten the cap, let it breathe and wait 2-3 weeks and you have Orange Jack!

There is no restriction about alcohol in Dubai. You can find it easily there. But I think you should avoid alcohol. Everyone know about disadvantages about alcohol.
