They are both fascinating and very different from each other In 2 weeks you can easily visit both. London and Paris are only just over 2 hours apart city centre to city centre on the frequent Eurostar train hat uses the Channel Tunnel www.eurostar.com

It's a close call, but London clearly has the advantage, according to a new infographic by Csaba Gyulai, provided by Ally Biring of travel booking site HouseTrip.com. Gyulai compared different aspects of each city, including restaurants, cuisine, landmarks, architecture, and local sights, and found that London topped Paris in most of these categories.

That depends on what you want to see. How well do you speak French? Parisians aren't good at English - in fact they get quite sniffy about anyone who can't speak French properly - and it will help enormously, if only to help you read signs and menus.
In fact it wouldn't be hard to spend a week in each. Take a train or a plane between them. It would only take about half a day in total to get from one to the other - the scheduled flight time is an hour and by the time you've done all the fiddling about you have to do at airports, it would take just as long to go by train and experience the Channel Tunnel.
