【November 25 2013】The fennec fox isn't often seen in daylight. This tiny canid is a native of the Sahara desert in North Africa. With daytime temperatures sometimes surpassing 120 degrees F, it pays to be nocturnal, when the temperature drops significantly. It also pays to be small.
